Christmas Rush

Christmas is just around the corner, and we are feeling the pressure. The amount of orders we’ve received is quite overwhelming – and to think that most of these orders come from my partner’s officemates only.

My partner and I are exhausted from lack of sleep, but we are very happy with how well things are going.

So, we would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers for their continuous support for Beaddict. We promise to continue improving our products and coming up with new and unique designs you will be sure to love.

Bazaar Time!

This past week has been a busy one, since we have been preparing for our first bazaar. I’ve been feeling a bit anxious about it…after all, it is my first time. We had a "creative session" last weekend to come up with brand new designs for the coming bazaar.

My dilemma is how many items to bring! The pessimist in me doesn’t want to bring all of my items because I’m not sure if I will be able to sell anything. On the other hand, the optimist in me doesn’t want to bring too few items in case I can actually sell them all.

But I guess I can only learn from experience. Wish me luck!

Rock Glam

After watching the TV show Rock Star: INXS, I have been inspired by the rock genre – and not just with regards to the music. I’ve been trying for weeks to come up with an accessory that can help pull off the "rock glam" look, minus the leather of course.

Last week, I finally put together the perfect rock accessory. It’s a cuff made with black organza ribbons, silver beads and findings, clear glass cut beads and Swarovski crystals. The black ribbons give the cuff the "rock feel" and the crystals lend a touch of elegance to the entire piece.

Pearl Ardor

My partner and I have been fascinated with pearls ever since we stumbled upon a group of vendors selling freshwater pearls by the beach last summer. In fact, I think it was this encounter that prompted us to start Beaddict.

I love the elegance that comes from wearing pearls. When I am in a hurry to get to work and have no time to decide what accessories match my outfit, I usually reach for my pearls. They never fail to complete my look.

I also love experimenting with the different colors, shapes and sizes of pearls. They are so versatile, and I enjoy combining them with different materials to come up with classic but fun pieces.

Of course, what I love the most about pearls is how reasonably priced they are!

You Know You Are a Beaddict When…
